IF YOU PURCHASE BIRDS FROM US YOU ARE ACCEPTING OUR POLICY TERMS, SHIPPING, HEALTH AND GENDER GUARANTEES!!
Shipping
Guarantee (USPS EXPRESS)
WE GUARANTEE LIVE ARRIVAL .....
On all birds shipped through USPS EXPRESS (except Gouldian Finches) if they arrive overnight or second day.
WE DO NOT GUARANTEE LIVE ARRIVAL .....
On deliveries
delayed in route by USPS
as this would be beyond our control.
If a bird(s) is DOA or if there is a problem the buyer must contact us immediately. If you do not contact us by phone or e-mail within 8 hours after receiving your birds, all guarantees are void. If shipment was not delayed, we will replace the DOA bird(s) at no charge or credit the cost of the DOA bird(s) on a future order (No money refunds are given & all credits given must be used within one year). All shipping cost and replacement shipping cost are the buyer's responsibility. The majority of the birds we sell are banded. If a bird arrives DOA, you must ship the bird with legband in place back to us within 3 days from the date you received your birds. The reason we ask for the bird back is so our vet can perform a necropsy to determine the cause of death. If you prefer not to ship the bird back you can take a photo of the bird(s) then slip the band off the DOA bird's leg (the band must be uncut nor damaged in any way) and mail it to us. If you need further information on the return process contact us. Honestly, we have only had 8 birds DOA in all the thousands of birds we have shipped USPS EXPRESS. They do a good job and most birds shipped handle the trip very well. Sorry but we can not guarantee shipment of Gouldian Finches through USPS EXPRESS. It is our belief that Gouldians tend to stress faster than other birds and shipping via airline is much faster and less stressful to Gouldians than shipping USPS. We recommend shipping them only by Airlines. However, we have shipped Gouldians numerous times through USPS at the owner's request with no problems. If you choose to accept Gouldians through USPS shipping we can not be held responsible if the Gouldian stresses and dies before it arrives. Some species just aren't as hardy and tolerate as others. If you feel hesitant about shipping Gouldians USPS EXPRESS by all means choose Delta Airlines.

Guarantee (DELTA & AMERICAN AIRLINES)
All birds are insured through most commercial airlines prior to shipping.
All DOA loss claims must be filed with the shipping airline by the recipient of the birds on the same day of arrival. They will not accept late claims! Please do not wait to contact us about the birds~file the claim with the airline first when you are there to pick them up! To date we have experienced no losses with shipping via Delta or American Airlines but just incase it helps to know. On occasion flights may be delayed but the birds will remain insured throughout the flight. Some airlines such as American Airlines require a Health Certificate from a certified vet before birds can be shipped!
Health

Our flock is tested annually against disease and preventive measures are taken to insure the health of our flock.
We can not be held liable for birds that die after they have been accepted into the buyer's care. If you want your bird(s) vet checked and shipped with a health guarantee we most know when you place your order. There will be an additional cost of $30.00 for the vet check with Health Certificate ($10 for each additional bird with a $60 maximum charge). All Health Certificates will be shipped with the bird(s). Please be aware there are many household chemicals & plants that are toxic to birds. Gender
Guarantee
Sexually Dimorphic = Birds that show differences in plumage according to gender
Examples: Zebra Finches, Gouldian Finches, Twinspots, Strawberry Finches, Cordon Bleus
Non-Dimorphic = Birds that show no guaranteed visual differences according to gender
Examples: Society Finches, Spice Finches, Owl Finches, Canaries, Quakers, Lovebirds
We guarantee that all sexually dimorphic birds will be the sex requested when your order is placed. Please understand with some bird species guaranteeing sex 100% visualy just isn't possible. While we do our best to sex Non-Dimorphic birds human error should always be a consideration. Sometimes slight differences in behavior, beak shape and plumage will help determine the sex of Non- Dimorphic birds but with young birds this can often prove difficult. Male birds of some Non-Dimorphic species are always easier to spot as you may see them sing. However reluctant singers can be mistaken for hens. DNA or Surgical Sexing is the only way to guarantee the sex of Non-Dimorphic birds! There is an additional charge of $25.00 per bird for DNA Sexing and results can take 7-14 days to recieve. If you receive a Non-Dimorphic bird(s) which is an unwanted sex we will consider replacing it if you ship the current bird(s) back to us in the same condition they were received. The buyer will be responsible for all shipping and return shipping cost.
